Lean into your becoming.
Time to SHIFT^UP.
How are you doing? You are almost 1/2 way done this program. Congratulations. Seriously. This work is not easy stuff. BUT I know firsthand, in my life, and in the life of the people I coach, there is great strength and clarity from SHIFTING UP.
Quick review:
YOUR MOJO is everything that gets your spirit excited. This program is all about transforming your desperate intention into PEACEFUL PURSUIT by the uncovering and connection with your PURPOSE and your inner knowing.
So stay with me. TRUST THE PROCESS. Immerse yourself in the affirmations and remember to be genuinely open to the beautiful opportunities beginning to show up in your life as a result of all your hard work.

Today's Affirmation... I AM FORGIVING. part 2. Sometimes I screw up. I compromise my integrity. It feels like crap. I choose self-compassion to guide me back to who I am.
Day 1 & 2 you took inventory of your emotions (and your energies).
Day 3 & 4 you worked on releasing the resistance of emotions that are not serving you.
Day 5 & 6 you connected with your evolution. The ongoing progress of YOU.
Day 7 & 8 you focused on love. And how you grow love in your community.
Day 9 -12 you chose forging ahead by finally forgiving.
Day 12-15 is about being nice to yourself.

In my work as a coach and speaker I see sooooooooooooooooooooo (yes this statement warrants that ridiculous number of o's) many people completely sabotaging themselves and their soul centred success (or any success for that matter) by being so HARD on themselves.
A flower can not grow when regularly stomped on.
We are raised in a culture of Perfect-Flawism. Yes. I made that up myself. Yay for me.
It means we are raised to think we need to be perfect and to live up to impossible standards in beauty/career/life. Yet we are also raised in a culture where we are told we are absolutely flawed. That we need to be continually fixed.
ex: You have wrinkles. You are flawed. You need to remove your wrinkles to look younger and to be feel attractive.
ex: You are looking frazzled from the daily juggle of work, kids and home responsibilities. You need to have a clean house and to be with your kids when they are sick. You also need to exercise to be healthy. And happy. Plus 8 hours of consecutive sleep a night. Ya. You need that too.
So what happens when we do not live up to the standards that are imposed on us? What happens when we do not live up to the standards that we impose on ourselves?
We feel shitty. FRUSTRATED. We make decisions based on emotional reactions (most often our intimate emotions) and find ourselves spiralling down unintended steep paths that require superpower emotional strength to get out of. Sound familiar?
Two things. One. You do have the strength to climb back up. You do. Second. Nothing keeps us down like our self-inflicted soul-beatings and shackles of shame.
RISE UP AND SHINE. How? Via your MOJO.
Your MOJO is your superpower of strength. You just have to start using it to feel it. Once you feel it you will start to do it. More and more. Practice makes progress. And soon, naturally and effortlessly, you will BE YOUR MOJO.
BEING YOUR MOJO is living a life that is built on the foundation of ignited energy. It's the self understanding of who you are, what you want and what gets you excited. It's the intoxicating combination of your natural talents, passions and purpose. It's the magical connection between knowing what your MOJO is and connecting that understanding to how you actively live every single day.
To get to that place....that place of BEING YOUR MOJO, you must be nice to yourself.
This includes:
Questioning the expectations you put on yourself (and those around you). Are they serving you? Are you inviting joy and fulfillment into your life by adhering to these standards?
Are you talking nice to yourself? Do you think in hurt or hope? Look back on your notes in your journal. If you were a stranger reading what you have written....what would you think about how YOU think about yourself?
Have you celebrated your successes lately?
Do you take time to ENJOY the relationships in your life?
Sometimes, we need to reflect on our goals and our ideas of what should be so that we can make room for our ongoing evolution. Who you are today is not who you were one, two or even three years ago.
Can I here an AMEN for EVOLUTION? Although I do miss the backcombing of my bangs. That was fun.

+ Practice today's SHFIT^UP Affirmation. Say it slow. Embrace it's truth.
+ Read through your Journal. What words do you see again and again? What kind of language do you use when writing about yourself? List five positive and energetically charged words you can use to start describing what it is you say you want. Start actively using them.
+ Did you share your MOJO SEEDS List on the SHIFT^UP Facebook Group yet? When you share your MOJO you change the world. I really mean that. Choose one of your MOJO SEEDS (an activity that inspires your spirit) and do something with it that also serves someone else. An example: I get all juiced up with creative writing so I have created this program to inspire you to share your MOJO. Win. Win.
