ROCK YOUR LIFE | Week 10

Boldly bloom.

I hope that your week of focusing on how you are RECEIVING has tweaked a mind-set and helped you invite more JOY + FUN into your life. Isn't it amazing how the simplest of perspective shifts can have the biggest impacts on our life experience?

What mind-shifts have you experienced over the last 9 weeks?

It's the changes in how you think that will have a lasting effect on how you live your everyday. This course asks the questions to facilitate these shifts but it is your focus, introspection, creative thinking, intention, innovation and ACTION that brings you along your soul-centred success journey.

Remember from last week this nugget?
SUCCESS IS IN TRYING---> LEARNING---> TRYING ---> LEARNING. 

Your FOUNDATION is the trunk of this tree. Deeply rooted. Rich in wisdom and experience. The source of nourishment for every branch that bravely stretches towards the sun. The source of renewal for every leaf that buds and blooms. 

Expansion and expression are two simple words that wield phenomenal power in your life. I think they are actually two keys to experiencing fulfillment that is built on intention, gratitude and joy. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN?

ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS (a quick Life Inventory):
1. In what ways am I creating what I say I want?
2. How am I choosing to express who I am and what I want?

Before you reflect on those questions let's take a "deeper" look at what I mean by expansion and expression. I hope you will connect with both peace and possibility in the next few paragraphs.

When you take a course like ROCK YOUR LIFE you are expanding. When you read a book you are expanding. When you are connecting with other people who teach you about the kind of person you strive to be.....you are expanding. Expansion includes any experience that feeds your mind and soul with energy, ideas and introspections.

Expansion takes you out of your own head. It allows you to try on new perspectives and enjoy novel experiences. It stretches spirit in new ways. Teaches habits about alternate possibilities. Loosens the shackles of preconceived ideas. Imports concepts that may never have been considered.

Expansion.-----> Educates. Illuminates. Illustrates. Elaborates. Enriches. Creates. Ignites. Sparks. Divides. Challenges. Angers. Rectifies. Breaks Open.

Expansion has no negative or positive motive. It is simply the process from which you may grow. The energy you choose to fuel your expansion with determines it's intention.

IN WHAT WAYS ARE YOU EXPANDING YOUR SENSE OF SELF?
WHAT ENERGY ARE YOU FUELLING YOUR EXPANSION WITH? 

One thing I have learned is that we all seek to be heard. To be understood and SEEN for who we authentically are (which can be so hard when living in a culture that demands unattainable and un-soulful ideals).

Expression is simply how you show up and shine as YOU. The you that loves to do what you love to do. The you that gets all little kid excited about the simplest of things. The you that is quirky. I'm talking about the energy of totally unique YOU!

Your life experience of fun + joy will expand in relation to how much you truly own, accept and EMBRACE your unique energy. The "happiest" people I know are the ones that are just so damn comfortable in their own skin. Do you know people like this? And believe me it is NOT because their life is perfect. FAR FROM IT!

Are they special? No (not anymore than you and I!). Are they always positive and bubbly? No. Are they rich? Not all. Do they love their job? It's possible....bet everyday is not all rainbows and lollipops though. Are they all thin and beautiful? Nope. Were they all the popular kids at school that everyone adored and thought were so cool? Maybe. Maybe not.

NONE OF THAT MATTERS. They are living in the currency of fulfillment because they place value on who they are, how they contribute to the world AND how they actively express themselves.

Expression is the currency you place on who you are. It is your value. And how you value YOU Is more important than anything else. How you embrace what you got goin' on determines if life flows with possibility or resistance.

Need to create more biz or professional success? Value YOU.
Need to move forward from a relationship? Value YOU.
Need to find clarity amongst the chaos? Value YOU.
Need to find the fun and fulfillment in your everyday? Value YOU.

Many people think EXPRESSION is something you do (like art, photography or another skill set) but I think it is more about how you be. Connecting with your state of being will be the change that helps you to ROCK YOUR LIFE more than what you do. When you are connected with your state of being you are AWARE of how you are expanding and expressing....and with that awareness comes the freedom of choice. You CHOOSE joy, resilience, hope, faith, self-worth, determination.....YOU CHOOSE TO ROCK YOUR LIFE. Does this make sense? Email me if you need support with this. I am here to help you all the way.

Expansion and Expression, when done consistently with positive intention, will help you to ROCK YOUR LIFE. Trust me on this one (remember....faith in the process....YOUR process!). BUT as with anything you must take action to create change.
