Mind-shifts that Matter.

Oh how the soul centred success momentum begins to build! I absolutely love the Acts of Courage process (how's it going for you?). I know it's a BIG STEP for you in ROCKING YOUR LIFE (in more ways than one). Congrats.

No seriously. CONGRATULATIONS for all the work you have been doing throughout this course. We are almost half way through the 16 weeks....and the learning/growing will continue (as long as you keep doing the work).  

In week seven we are going to focus on moving from ... desperation to determination.

Desperation is a depleting emotional experience. It comes from a place of not-enough. It suffocates joy. It stretches your emotions thin. Nurtures isolation. Depresses the soul.

Geesh kind of melancholy isn't it? Good news...

Desperation is also a beautiful sign from the universe that SOMETHING does need to change. And in my experience, as a Life Strategy Coach, it is not the changes in your environment, relationships, financial and material life that make the REAL LASTING DIFFERENCE. 

It is the mind shifts from desperation to determination that will alter your life experience...and your results.

It's important to understand and appreciate that everyone has desperate thoughts. I mean EVERYONE. How quickly and intentionally you turn your energy of desperation to energy of determination is the difference between someone who stays stuck and someone who moves forward. So please don't be hard on yourself (that's a form of soul-centred success sabotage).

Remember that ROCK YOUR LIFE is all about learning how you think and the ways in which you build momentum or create resistance while, at the same time, loving and accepting yourself through the process. And that takes practice. It really does.

I know you are busy DOING your Acts of Courage so this week I am going ask you to take the time to BE with your thoughts. Specifically with reflection on how you can transition desperation in your life (feeling drained) into DETERMINATION (feeling driven).

Don't worry, this week's LoveWork will guide you through the process. I hope you find this exercise as valuable as I have. It continues to help me uncover how my WAYS OF THINKING are what's holding me back from living my best (and most fun!) life.

"I am going to focus on creating soul centred success for myself and others because my legacy is based on effecting positive change....NOT in having to prove myself to anybody."
