ROCK YOUR LIFE | Week 6
Courage. Rising.
YOUR 3 ACTS OF COURAGE. How are they coming along? I get all kinds of little-kid excited when I think about the process you are going through....because I KNOW the power and potential that comes from flexing your muscles of courage. For stepping into the light of YES.YOU.CAN. For choosing for yourself something that IS moving you forward in a positive way.
You call the shots.
You listen to your gut.
You create your opportunities.
You decide when you have had enough.
You determine your path of possibility.
You are the ultimate source of FAITH in everything you.
You don't need anyone to tell you what you need to do. Follow what FEELS right for you in the here and now.
In week six we are continuing our work on moving from ... RESISTANCE to RELEASE.
This weeks we are starting our focus on how your GOALS are supporting your soul-centred choices.
You have goals to CREATE SUCCESS. It could be success in your love life, family, your health (physical/emotional), your biz or professional careers. Too often I find people become trapped with their goals because of the following possible reasons:
+ the goals you created based on your life circumstances and desires at the time no longer seem to fulfill the person you are today.
+ your goals are not yours. they are someone else's idea of who you should be and what you should be doing.
+ your goals are not yours. they are your idea of who you should be and what you should be doing when really you truly want neither.
+ your goals are your habits. your way of thinking. your way of keeping you stuck because it is more comfortable to be in the never ending search for attainment than it is to live in the manifestation zone of acceptance and action.
+ your goals are overwhelming, complicated or require a level of perfection/skill that seems unattainable. are you creating goals like this to be sure you don't try so that you can save yourself from the potential of failing?
Perhaps this sounds like something you might think...
I'm VERY determined. I KNOW what I WANT (most days) and am working HARD to reach my goals. But I need to figure out how to get there with less frustration and confusion.
Whoa! Stop right there. Goal digging doesn’t have to be such a heavy burden. Plus, anxiety can lead to water retention. Not good.
Two insights for you:
1. Being determined, super loyal, highly passionate and obsessively disciplined DOES NOT necessarily lead to a fulfilling life experience. I know a whole lot of people who are achieving their goals and completely unconnected with an authentically exciting life at the EXACT same time. Don’t you?
2. Frustration and confusion are symptoms of misaligned passions and purpose.
Too often, as determined people of doing it all, we become so laser focused on our goals that we forget to embrace the EVOLVING nature of who we are.
The results? Emotional chaos and an overwhelming waste of energy.
Think about yourself five years ago. What were your life circumstances? How have they changed? How about your health, spirituality, relationships and life habits?
Are you allowing your goals and life strategies to evolve as much as you have?
And you want to move forward right? You want to create your best life experience? YES?
Recognizing what is, and what is not, working (including visions, dreams & daily life rituals) is how successful people ROCK their lives.
SOMETIMES THE COURAGE IT TAKES TO STEP AWAY FROM YOUR LONG PURSUED GOALS ACTUALLY GIVES YOU THE CONFIDENCE TO MOVE TOWARDS YOUR MOST PASSIONATE DESIRES.
You are NOT failing if you choose to alter your goals. I’m going to say that again because I have witnessed how embracing this statement leads to transformational PIVOT POINTS.
YOU ARE NOT FAILING IF YOU CHOOSE TO ALTER YOUR GOALS.
When your mind, your heart, your soul-energy is RESISTING it’s time to REFLECT and RE-STRATEGIZE.
Adaptability. Flexibility. RESILIENCY. Bring it on.
WEEK 6 LoveWork
CLAIM YOUR COURAGE con't.
Remember from last week that courage is a muscle and it absolutely must be used and challenged to become stronger and more resilient. From the process of practicing courage comes confidence. This week's LoveWork is for you to continue flexing your courage muscle. If you have completed all three of your Acts of Courage....choose three more. If you have not finished your first three THAT'S OK too....my goal is for you to see your progress as a continuous flow of action towards creating what you say you want.

NEXT STEPS
NEXT STEP: Keep focusing and taking action on your chosen ACTS OF COURAGE. I'm holding you accountable to work through your RAW and REFINED resistance and start creating what you say you want. Remember to keep in mind the three questions guiding your process.
WHO AM I?
WHAT DO I WANT?
HOW CAN I SERVE?
REMINDER: Your ACTS OF COURAGE must require you to use your courage....no letting your resistance win out. Your acts should invigorate you...even scare you...but along with the anxiety and excitement you should also feel a deep sense of "YES I NEED TO DO THIS!". Only you know what you need. So trust your instincts.
