Let’s feel connected.
Can you imagine building a structure without first spending the time, money and hard work in creating a solid foundation? You can have the most beautiful building....but with no foundation it's walls will, with the slightest amount of pressure from wind and moving earth, come crashing down on each other. The ROCK YOUR LIFE Success Program has been designed to help YOU create your solid foundation so you can build your life to withstand the ups and downs of your everyday's.
HEY GUESS WHAT? Our foundations are not built out of concrete. THANK GOD! Our foundations are built out of moldable clay. Call it play-dough! While much of our life experiences mold our foundation to date we have the cool ability to "play" with it to create the foundation we need to live the experience we want. Just remember that little nugget as you move through week fours LoveWork ok?
Week four is all about.... RELATIONSHIP with SELF.
Remember that relationships matter. Relationships create the foundation of our life experience. Relationships are how we express love and joy OR how we manifest frustration and hurt. Relationships are what make life feel full, light and wonderful.
The most important relationship in your life is with yourself. It is the lens from which you orchestrate your thinking, beliefs and actions. Your internal voice serves you or hinders you...often without you even noticing the effects of your everyday thinking.
How do you speak to yourself? Do you practice self-respect?
And here's the real slap in your face truth. No one can teach you self-respect. No one can teach you self-worth. How you treat yourself is based on the relationship you nurture in your head. And to improve your relationship with self you have to spend time with YOU. Date yourself (I know it sounds kinda weird). But seriously take yourself out for dates. Be curious again. Be gentle, kind, compassionate and the best friend that says, "GET YOUR ASS INTO GEAR."
Only you can do this for yourself.
While I can help guide you with tools to connect with and evaluate your level of self-worth only you....ONLY YOU....can make the active mental and physical choice to nurture your relationship with self. Redefining how you want to focus and share your emotional energy.
Oh and by the way----> self worth can not be acquired through diets, botox, breast or butt implants, new lover, getting rid of old lover, new house, new car, new job, new anything. You have everything you need RIGHT NOW to CHOOSE to be the best version of yourself. You have everything you need right now to start living (like really living!) in the flow of fun, compassion and JOY. Trust the process. Have faith. You are worth this.

SELF-RESPECT:
Thinking and acting with kindness.
Focusing on empathy, gratitude and love. For yourself and others.
Eating a cookie. Enjoying it GUILT FREE. Really, really enjoying it…and then NOT eating another (or at least not the 3rd)
Moving your body. Yes exercising. Not because you have to. Not because you want to lose weight. Doing it because exercising makes your body stronger, healthier and full of energy.
Taking 5 minutes a week to watch the clouds roll across the sky. Once a week! You can fit that in.
Following your gut instincts even when logic tells you otherwise.
Fuelling your body with powerful nutrition.
NOT starving your body with unsustainable, no-fun, fad diets.
Embracing humility and growth.
Being open to the beautiful, chaotic, intense and uniquely awesome evolution of WHO YOU ARE.
Accepting what is.
Remaining hopeful of what will be.
Understanding your stories of the past. And then letting them go. Gently.
Expecting respect. From yourself and others.
Not letting bathing-suit shopping be an excuse to feel crappy about yourself. Yes it is a choice. Who knew right?
Investing in relationships that matter in your life. Starting with the relationship you have with yourself. So high five! You are here...doing the work!
SELF-WORTH + SELF-RESPECT ARE THE FOUNDATION OF A JOYFUL AND SATISFYING LIFE. THEY ARE THE SEEDS OF SELF-LOVE.

3 Questions for YOU.
Last week we learned about relationship intention. The goal was to have you reach out and actively grow your support system. This week we are using the energy of relationship intention to nurture your relationship with self (your foundation). Self-worth is an active process and not one that you just think to yourself....so get ready to articulate your essence, desires and deliverables.
