CRY OF WHY vs DEFEAT OF WHATEVER

I was once told, by a personal development coach,  that “WHY” is the CRY of a victim. His words felt foreign. Unforgiving. FALSE. Intuitively inconsistent with my own truth.

WHY may be the cry of the victim. But we all need to cry. To unleash our emotional energy through the many channels humanly available. Crying. Hurting. Laughing. Loving. All normal. NECESSARY.

WHY may be the cry of the victim. But we are all victims at one time or another. Life can be a bitch. Crap happens. Asking why is a way of untangling the lesson that is begging to be learned. Life is a teacher. Let her guide us towards our own unique evolution.

Why may be the cry of the victim. But asking WHY requires personal investment.
It means we care enough to ask the universe for explanation. For clarity of the conscious and guidance of our soul.

Asking WHY is a primary form of revival.

Don’t fear the word WHY. Embrace its desire to understand.

Yes. We can get stuck in the questions of circumstance. Sometimes there are no easily accessible answers to appease our troubled minds and spirits.  Trust that life will offer you an understanding when you are truly ready. Until then, keep yourself open to this process of investigation.

I MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE SENSE OF MY WHY BUT, WITH TIME, I WILL MAKE PEACE WITH THE QUESTION

The real danger is not in asking WHY but with another word that leads to stagnation over momentum. This word is the equivalent of raising the white flag. Of giving up. Absolute emotional defeat.

“WHATEVER.”

Whatever is the cry of the long lost and misunderstood. Apathy that takes over any desire for rejuvenation. No relationship or situation has ever been improved with the word whatever.

Saying WHATEVER is a declaration of emotional disposal.  Whatever is empty with no request of the universe to make amends. It’s a false protection of the heart. A black hole of possibility and potential.

When you catch yourself saying WHATEVER.
Stop. And ask WHY.
